The Silk Museum-Bsous regularly receives donations to enhance its collection. The donated clothes and accessories reflect the history of Lebanon as well as the textile heritage of various world cultures.

Are you interested to donate?

The process is simple. Send us by email or by mail the photo of the item along with the description and relevant information, which includes : the name of the original owner of the garment or accessory,  the artisan’s or designer’s name and the story of the item.

The team at the Silk Museum-Bsous will first assess if the item is in good condition then will check if similar items are already present in their existing collection. If the item is selected, it will be submitted to the Acquisitions’ Comittee for final approval.

The museum reserves the right to refuse donations.
All acquired items by the museum are free of charge.
